General Dynamics Information Technology is seeking a Logistics Analyst with experience in one or more of the following areas - Asset Maintenance Manager (AMM), Field Terminal Manager (FTO), Maintenance Analyst, Configuration Management, or Maintenance Requirements Cards (MRCs) development.
Other desirable experience:
Must have an understanding and experience in Coast Guard logistics/maintenance programs, functions for either surface (cutter, ship, boat(s)), shore, C4ISR or aviation assets.
Understanding of the Coast Guards logistics transformation efforts.
Working knowledge of VLS, ACMS or ALMIS, or other USCG logistics programs.
May be involved in one or more areas of integrated logistics supporting including but not limited to maintenance, provisioning, material management, configuration management.
Other duties may include:
Developing, validating, and revising Maintenance Procedure Cards (MPCs) content using Coast Guards processes and in accordance with latest requirements and quality standards.
Assisting with maintaining asset configuration.
Resolving discrepancies in the MPCs.
Supporting company and Coast Guard quality programs.
Expertise in the use of Microsoft Office programs, including Excel, Microsoft Word and MS PowerPoint, understanding of databases.
Requires BS/BA degree; Familiar with computer use including word processing, spreadsheets and relational database software. A combination of specific marine and small vessel maintenance background and computer experience are essential.
Requires 8+ years experience in maintenance documentation experience. Reliability-Centered Maintenance (RCM) Level II desired but not required. Training may be available through U.S. Coast Guard.
